We believe we are the premier provider of outdoor education training and assessment in Australia, our belief is supported by the following list of awards, accolades and conference presentations that we as an organization have been involved in.

NSW Outdoor Recreation Industry Council (ORIC) Tom Carr-Boyd Memorial Award for YOUNG AND INSPIRING TRAINEE OUTDOOR EDUCATOR in 2009 and 2010 The winners of these awards were Georgina MacSmith (2009) and Arrin Daley in 2010.
TAFE NSW Western Institute as an organization has also been recognised as a leader in vocational education and training. TAFE NSW Western Institute has been awarded the NSW large training provider of the year in 1999, 2006 and 2007.
TAFE NSW Western Institute have been awarded Australian large training provider of the year in 2007.

2008 Service Skills Australia 2008 Conference:
Delivered a paper on the educational and employability skills developed in outdoor education.

Expert panelist for educational delivery.

2007 National Outdoor Education Conference:
Delivered a presentation on research conducted on rural and remote TVET students improvement in their life effectiveness after a 10 day TVET program.

Delivered a paper on innovation in educational delivery.

2005 TAFE NSW Quality Awards:
Achieved an excellence in quality and overall Bronze Award
(3rd in State) for their outdoor education TVET program.
